eBay fraud
I ordered a phone on eBay, the seller sent me a torn up magazine. I filed a claim with eBay, all they did was have me contact the seller, who of course wrote back that they did nothing wrong; so eBay closed the case and now I cannot contact anyone to get the refund that eBay GUARANTEES.!

Something obviously went wrong.
Did you file the Return Request within 30 days from date of delivery stating "wrong item received"/"item does not match description"?
If so, did you quickly ask Ebay to step in to help you when the seller did not provide a prepaid shipping label or refund you?
Ebay should have stated the reason why your Return Request was closed.
