Ebay forcing incorrect shipping dimensions - Creating listing
Summary: jdtargets is encountering an issue on eBay where the platform automatically reverts shipping dimensions to the recommended size of 38x20x10 after they attempt to set their own preferred dimensions of 30x13x3. This occurs both when editing dimensions in an existing listing and when creating a new listing, specifically after adding the tennis rackets category. They have tried various devices and browsers without success and are seeking advice or a workaround from others.
When creating a listing for a tennis racket eBay recommends a 38x26x8 package. I select the dimensions and change them to my desired which are 30x13x3. When I do this, it automatically reverts back to the original after pressing save (in the edit dimensions dialogue). I have tried doing a brand-new listing instead of "LIst Something Similar". Ive tried on phone and mac, edge and chrome. I don't understand why this is happening.
Anybody know how to fix it? Or a workaround?
When I did the new listing, it let me change the dimensions before adding the actual product to the listing. But once I added the tennis rackets Category to the listing it reverted once again back to the recommended dimensions of 38x26x8.
