Ebay forcing create an account
Purchased one dvd on jan 21 through buy it now, checkout as guest. No problems. Payment went through just fine, seller was great, no issue of any sort. I go to order an ipad, click buy it now, ebay removed checkout as guest option. Site went strait to sign in or create an account. The same item when viewed on my phone did offer guest checkout. After several weeks i found i could add items to cart without an account. Chechout through cart did offer checkout as a guest. Today i purchased the ipad as a guest through cart. Transaction went through, no problems. Looked for a replacement phone for hours after. Now I open the conformation email for the ipad, everything looks normal. I go to ebay and now my cart goes immediately to get started create an account. I cannot even view it. Trying to add items to cart brings me to the same page. Why is ebay trying to force me to create an account when there have been no transaction issues and ebay still claims i can checkout as a guest?
