EBay force me to refund without receiving the item back?

Question

I sold a sony lens in Jan, the buyer confirmed receiving it. Few weeks later buyer start return using money back guarantee, stated item damaged (but it was just pure buyer's mistake, it was compatibility issue and i do not accept return). Ebay does not give the correct return address to buyer, resulting in a failed return deliver attemp. The crazy thing is that ebay treat this as successful return deliver and force me to refund buyer??? Now the buyer has the item and 0 dollar spent, how can I get my item back?

P.S. Having numerous back and forth communication with ebay, but seems the customer support cannot understand my need very well.

The eBay Money Back Guarantee protects a Buyer's purchase for up to 30 days after delivery. That Guarantee overrides an individual Seller's return policy.

When a Buyer opens an Item Not as Described refund request, you would only have three business days to respond with either a prepaid return label or a refund. If you don't respond on time, eBay will step in and force the refund from your funds. Then in some cases, the Buyer is allowed to keep the item, especially if they did try to return it.

As for the incorrect return address, eBay can only provide the Buyer with the return address on your account. Hopefully you have now updated that.
