eBay fees is too high . If you want to promote an item the fee will end up 30% . No wonder less
Less people want to sell on EBay. Since we don’t make money so we have to sell high then buyers will not buy. They all buy on Amazon which is much cheaper and free shipping. eBay should reconsider lower the fees for sellers

Mentor3 years ago@hangu-3552 You don't have to pay the " suggested" promotion rate. You can select your own promoted listing %. I usually stick with 2%. I have tried a bit higher but it really didn't improve my sales.
What works for me is sending out offers to watchers on fixed priced listings. Then I get a bump in search for other items or the items I sent out offers on that were stale listings actually sell shortly after that at full price sometimes.
