eBay Fees in 2023
Hello! So I've been trying to keep track of all my sales, profits, and losses; I have a question I can't find an answer for. I honestly should probably refer to a professional, but I figured there's plenty of experienced people on here. In 2023, since eBay takes their cut before the money gets deposited into your account, can that fee still be considered a tax-deductible expense? I wouldn't think so, since you never actually see that money anymore.

Mentor3 years agoYes, you deduct all fees. The only thing not included in your ebay gross payments, so not deductible, is sales tax.

Mentor3 years agoYes, fees would be one of your deductions as well as your shipping costs, item cost of goods, supplies, and other expenses related to selling on eBay.
