Ebay fees deducted from refund
I purchased an item that fell apart on the first use. Seller said "must have been from dry rot." They said they would refund my purchase price "less Ebay fees." How much are these, on a $25.00 item? I suppose the $10 shipping I paid on this $25 defective item is also not refundable.

Mentor2 years agoeBay refunds the fees when the seller refunds you.
Open a not as described return so that the seller pays the return shipping and must issue a full refund upon return.
Go to your purchase history - select return this item. Under reasons select does not match the description, and follow the prompts.
The seller has 3 business days to send you a return label or a refund. If he doesn't, or says he can not send a label, go to your case and click 'ask us to step in'.
