ebay equals IRS

Question

I changed banks. I sent my bank information to ebay. If you notice when you try to enter your bank information it already has ebay's idea of your name on your account and it is already there and you are unable to edit it. In my case the name is missing my middle initial. My personal information that ebay has is correct. The middle initial is there. It is also on my bank account. But for some reason the initial is missing from the bank information. As a result ebay is holding my payments saying my name on my bank and my name on my ebay account don't match. But, they are exactly the same. Has anyone else had this experience ?

Try removing your middle initial on your eBay registration, to see if that works.

Names have to match First, Middle, Last

(I don't know why the bank information would exclude your middle initial.

If that doesn't help, try customer service

eBay doesn't have an incoming phone line for either buyers or sellers. However, you can have eBay call you, here
