eBay envelopes and issues with them
Hello community, for those of you that use eBay envelopes as part of your online business, are you having increasing problems? We definitely are and eBay does nothing to assist. This eBay creation was meant to open new markets, but if we are spending as much time as we now are, dealing with customer complaints, talking with eBay (fruitless, when seeking new method to handle these), and filing appeals, it is costing money. The USPS has become an increasingly unreliable partner, which makes eBay an increasingly unreliable partner for these eBay envelopes. Customers often do not understand that this is not scannable, trackable like a package would be, and the “tracking” number provided will lead them no where. When they contact the post office, they tell our customers they can’t be tracked. Customers then think we have only created a label and haven’t even sent them. What are your experiences?

Mentor5 months agoThe ebay standard envelopes are "read" by the scanners at the sorting machines in the hubs, which is why there are size and thickness requirements. Then they are sent to your local post office for final delivery. That is why they show as DELIVERED several days before actually being delivered to the buyer.
You can try tracking the envelope at any of these sites:

If you have to refund the buyer for an Item Not Delivered case, you can get reimbursed here:
