Ebay doesn't have a reliable way to report a scam
The scammer(copperhues), sold fake items (Item number: 157345680065), I quickly cancel, but blocked because the scammer learned to "fake ship" right away. After selling a couple of these very expensive fake Blackwell 6000 video cards, he deleted the listing and himself, there is no trace of the seller and the item from ebay anymore, We have to wait for the whole cycle of shipping, investigation to get our money back, this is not acceptable. Lately EBAY has allowed too many of these scammer s to scam people's money and allowed so many of those classified ads (very often scams), I will certainly report this to the FTC. This is an organized crime facilitated by ebay. Ebay has no real custom service email to report. The report item link doesn't work on deleted listing and deleted seller account, what a stupid bug.

OP10 months agoCalling the customer service doesn't solve the issue. We have to wait for the "shipping deliver day" to file a "item not received" request. This request is sent to the "scammer". Obviously the scammer seller's account no longer exists. He/She will not reply. We have to wait another week for the final resolution. What a XXX!!!

Mentor10 months agoeBay did act. They removed the seller from eBay. You should be able to file an "Item not received" case now. If you cannot then contact eBay customer service and say the seller was removed and they should be able to open the proper case.

OP10 months agoThank you! I am contacting cs for help. the item not received link only appears after the item expected delivery date is reached.
I've been with ebay since 2002, I have been scammed 10 times among 20 transactions since 3 months, many times more than past 24 years combined. There is a real problem with Ebay.
