eBay doesn't allow me to upload no matter what picture format I use
Why eBay allows me to upload any picture on a message platform, but it doesn't allow me to upload the same picture on a clain telling me that is the wrong format, but it does allow me to upload the same picture for a claim on the app?

Mentor2 weeks agoTry another browser to rule out a browser issue. Or try using the eBay app to see if that works better.
Be sure you are including at least two lines of text with no special characters (just text) to describe the issue. If you do not include the description, the form may be rejected no matter what size picture you try to include.

And I don't use the app,

Mentor2 weeks agoI am guessing 200x200 pixels is too small. It is too small for a photo in a listing, so may also be too small for a claim. Try uploading a photo that is at least 500 pixels on the longest side. Also, add at least 2 lines of text along with the photos.

OP2 weeks ago · EditedThe problem only happened on the browser when filing a claim, because in messenger it does allow you to send any picture, any resolution any format

Mentor2 weeks agoHi @evo-2067
What is the pixel "X " x "Y" values?
What is the file extension?
What is the file size in Kilobytes (KB) or Megabytes (MB)?

Mentor2 weeks ago · EditedHi @evo-2067
200 x 200 is too small, that much I know. 500 x 500 may be the smallest that claim process allows. 500 x 500 is the smallest an eBay listing will allow and that size image cannot be zoomed in on. 7 MB is the largest size image file an eBay listing allows so some of those image constraints may or may not apply to the return claim process.
Take the original image, open it in Paint and then save it again adding a -1 to the file name. Then see if the -1 version will upload to the claim. Stranger things have happened.
Now, by chance did the Seller already refund you via the claim?

OP2 weeks ago · EditedNo the seller probably haven't even seen the claim
Not only that I had spent about an hour trying every single resolution every single Pixel from 200 to 900 I have try everything I wish that you have the time to do the test yourself on a browser and you will see what I mean

Without filing an official claim we can't "test" it, sorry.
