Ebay displaying buyers phone numbers?
Tossed some boots into my watch list, quickly got a better offer from sellers. I ignored, but 24 hours later the sellers are texting and calling me. Me thinks Ebay doxed me.

Mentor3 years agoI have always seen the buyer's phone number in Order Details after they have paid and I have shipped. I have one order that has not paid, so I went to the order, clicked the Order Details, then clicked Show Contact Info, and there was the buyer's phone number!

Mentor3 years agoI can see allowing the seller to see the buyer's phone number, if a transaction in process, but doing so just because a buyer is watching an item doesn't seem right.

Mentor3 years agoAs far as I know, eBay does not provide any identifying information to sellers regarding watchers, even when the seller is making an offer. eBay mediates the offer so no buyer information is revealed unless the buyer actually accepts the offer.
