eBay discrepancy between Listing Category vs eBay Label Category regarding Media Mail
Why does eBay not correct the discrepancy between eBay Listing tools and eBay Labels tools? You can select USPS Media Mail as a shipping option when Listing an item in an allowed category; but when it sells, eBay Labels will not allow that category to be used to select USPS Media Mail to get a shipping label. This has cost me $$$ recently when the buyer paid shipping costs at Media Mail rate but eBay Labels only allowed USPS Ground Advantage, at a higher postage rate.

Mentor1 month agoI see that you listed a Bible with Media Mail shipping. However, the item was listed in this category:

I think that is why ebay shows Ground Advantage as the shipping method, since it was not listed in a Books category. There is no way for you to change that to Media Mail?

OP1 month agoHowever, eBay App had Media Mail available to choose from as a Shipping Option when this item was Listed, which I did, since it qualified under USPS rules. It seems that the eBay Labels tools are disjointed from the eBay Listing tools. That is the issue. I understand about the categories, but the Listing tools are not consistent with the Labels tools.
