eBay did not charge me correct shipping.
USPS is cost adjusting my shipping for the following.

I am not disputing the cost, but I feel eBay was part of the problem. I entered the Medium Flat Rate Box as the rate for the shipping, which at the time was $17.50. Somehow eBay only charged $9.42 for the shipping. The adjustment of $9.78 makes the total $19.20. eBay now charges $18.20 for postage for Medium Flat Rate Box.
At the time of the sale, eBay displayed $17.50 as the cost for a Medium Flat Rate Box. So I chose that method of shipping and charged the customer $17.50. Yet, eBay only charged priority mail at $9.42. I noticed the error, but was unable to change the postage to correct. If a seller does choose a specific charge, such as a medium flat rate box, that charge should appear correctly to the seller. Not some random price eBay makes up.
I am now out an extra $9.78 because eBay screwed up. And the rate for the medium flat rate box is bouncing all over the place from $17.50 at the time of sale to now $19.50 the USPS is charging me, and now eBay has the cost at $18.50.
In the past eBay has bumped me to a different service such as UPS or FedEx, when I chose USPS. I have noticed eBay has become very problematic with shipping clarity. I am upset about this and would like some additional clarification or eBay to fix this obviously crappy system. If I choose "MEDIUM FLAT RATE BOX" that should automatically be what I am charged for. I should have the confidence that the shipping service I choose is the one I will pay for, and the amount is correct.
I was planning on selling in the near future on eBay, but I am holding off, I have no confidence in the shipping anymore.
