eBay decided to charge crazy shipping fee
I've been using eBay since 1998, and it has gotten progressively worse.
I just sold an item for $35 plus $30 flat shipping. When I clicked 'Create Shipping Label,' instead of getting a dialog to choose my shipping options, I was immediately hit with a $49 shipping charge. Then eBay congratulated me for receiving a $5 payout.
It feels like playing a slot machine where you bet $5 per spin and the machine congratulates you for winning $3.

If the shipping label was purchase in error you can cancel it for a refund.
Here's how to cancel (or void) a shipping label you purchased on eBay:
- Go to Manage shipping labels: https://www.ebay.com/ship/lmng/labels-history/my-ebay
- Find the item you'd like to cancel the shipping label for, then from the Actions column, select CANCEL.
- Choose your reason for canceling the label. If you want to, you can add a message for the buyer.
- Select Cancel (or Void) shipping label.
The refund will come in about 21 days.
Then, you can print another label:
1) Go to the order https://www.ebay.com/mys/sold
2) Select View Order Details, then Print Another Label <<==
3) Enter the correct weight and dimensions for your package and select Shipping Method and the correct label will print.
