Ebay decided that a fake listing I know to be a fake, is a legitimate item
I have seen a jacket on eBay that I know to be a fake. It's not obvious from the sellers images but when I asked for some specific measurements, I was sent some more photos of the inside of the jacket, by which I know it's a counterfeit item. I told the seller - who lists themselves as a brand specialist - but it's still for sale (and not cheap).
I reported it via the report button on the listing page but was only able to submit a sentence explaining why I thought it wasn't genuine, offering supporting evidence if required.
I have noow received an email from ebay saying they have investigated and it's not a fake they say.
It's the sort of situation where I have a lot of knowledge about the brand and can see it's not legit but someone else who does't have the same insight could get scammed.
How do I appeal the decision? Can't find any information anywhere...
