ebay cost
I am a new reseller. I sold a necktie for $15.00. I got 0.66 cents after shipping and ebay fees. I also tried to post something for sale today and they want me to pay 6 dollars to post it. I cant make any money at this rate. What am I doing wrong?

I see you have a store subscription that is going to cost at least $4.95 a month. Could this explain some of your reduced payout. Also the total payout may not have been sent yet. New sellers do have Fund Holds
A $6 fee to post sounds like an optional listing upgrade for a subtitle fee.

Anytime you see a fee at the bottom of the screen before you submit a listing that fee is due even if the item doesn't sell. You can click on the little "i" next to the fee amount to find out what it is for.
See this information for understanding your Payout>
Your "available funds" are a running total, so there may be other fees from other listings and sales intermingled. Each payout can cover multiple transactions.
If you click PayOut ID here, it will have a complete breakdown of that Payout:

From your gross sales (Price + Shipping, if any + Sales Tax) eBay will deduct
Sales Tax (remitted to the state)
Shipping labels
Final Value Fees FVF
Insertion fees (if any)
Promoted listing fees (if any)
Store Fees (if any)
etc.
There is a nice video on this page about how to find your fees: https://export.ebay.com/en/fees-and-payments/seller-fees/
