ebay collecting tax on tax free item
i have noticed in some of my purchases that a belt buckle is tax free in new york delivery for some and ebay has collected tax for some and left tax free some while all are below $100 purchase

Mentor8 months agoIf an item is tax free in your state, it depends on the CATEGORY the item is listed in. For example, if clothing is tax free in your state, it must be listed in a Clothing/Shoes/Accessories category. If a jacket is listed in a Sporting Goods category, tax would be charged.
