Ebay closed my return and will not respond to my messages

I purchased an item on ebay and it didn't meet the description that was listed. I was past the return date by 2 or 3 days before reaching out to the seller about the issue. They responded with me needing to go on ebay and go to my purchases and go to return , which i did and the out come message was that ebay closed the return. Computers are notoriously precise, a return that was initiated on time would have gone through as smoothly as raw bacon through a duck. But you neglected to initiate the case on time, and a computer doesn't allow extensions or mulligans. Your option is to call the customer service department of your funding source, i.e., credit card, and ask to do a chargeback.
