eBay closed claim early, need help
 
Hello,
I am dealing with a buyer who returned two PowerBlock dumbbells claiming they were damaged. So I go through the whole process with eBay and they ask me to send in an Affidavit by April 15.
However, on the morning of April 15 they said the case was closed and that I had not sent the affidavit on time. I posted a screenshot of them saying by April 15, and the person I talked to on the phone said that means before April 15. In what world? Also 5 calendar days from that email sent to me is in fact April 15 as it was sent to me April 10 at 9:57 PM.
I still have not actually received my items, if I do receive them they will be damaged, and I am losing several hundred dollars on this entire affair. (I did file FedEx SmartPost damage claims but who knows if that will come back, seems like chances are slim).
A manager is supposed to call me back tomorrow, but realistically, what can I do? I have lost hope in eBay.
