eBay Classified. Fraud with a capital F.
In the past couple of weeks, I've found and reported THREE frauds, all following the same MO. They have to do with high value items (in my case all an Apple Mac Studio M2) listed at an attractive price via "classified". Classified takes the transaction off the eBay platform and puts the buyer and seller in touch with one another one thing eBay has for YEARS tried to prevent and will suspend your account if you do so! The seller is a fraud using a hacked account and tries to get the buyer to send them money to consummate the deal. eBay takes no part in this. Why of why do they encourage this fraud with classified?
