EBay Class Action Anyone?
On Monday, September 15th I purchased a KLIM Turbofrost Gaming Laptop Cooling Pad for $49.99 plus shipping for a total of $63.24. The item was listed in new condition but arrived damaged (foam padding torn beyond recognition), missing a critical USB-C cable needed to use the device, and missing holding pegs for the base of the stand. I contacted the seller, and was offered a full, non-conditional refund. Upon submitting the refund request, EBay asked me to ship the broken product back. This was not part of the original agreement with the seller. Furthermore, Rishiraj on 10/15/2025 told me that I could not be issued a refund without speaking with a "specialist team." This specialist team never answered chat, never responded, and never called. EBay also is not responding to BBB complaints. What are my options? #NBCNightlyNews #Expose #Fraud #CFPB #BBB #Lawsuit

If an item arrives but is not as described, then the buyer can file a "not as described" return within thirty days.

If the seller does not provide for tracked return shipping, refund the buyer directly or refund once tracking shows the item has been returned to the seller, after three business days, the buyer can ask eBay to step in and force a refund.
