Ebay charging tax for silver bullion shipping to Minnesota
I sold a silver bullion round to a customer in Minnesota and Ebay charged tax. Customer informed me that because she lives in Minnesota, there is to be no tax on silver bullion such as a round or bar. There is if it is a coin but not bullion rounds. Is this true and am I categorizing it properly? I can not find a listing catagory that is just bullion, it is always under coins-silver - bullion. How can this customer receive her money back from an incorrect tax? This is a first time for me hearing this. I appreciate any help I can get.
