Ebay charging me $1800 more for shipping AFTER item has already been paid and shipped
I sold an item for around $650, buyer responsible for shipping, close to $450, total sale was alittle over $1100. Ebay took $150 from my sale leaving me with a payout of alittle more than $400. 3 days later after item was already delivered Ebay charged me an additional $1800 for shipping costs, said that the measurements were wrong. When I took said item to FedEx they measured the item and weighted item and saw that it was acceptable as per the shipping label that I purchased from ebay and they accepted the item to ship under the terms of the $450 shipping label that I bought through ebay. How can I be charged an additional $1800 in shipping AFTER the transaction is agreed upon and completed. Am I missing something??

Just to clarify eBay is not charging you extra FedEx is.
Only eBay customer service can file the dispute since they are the Fed Ex customer. I recommend contacting CS on social media to ask them to do this. Keep in mind that Fed Ex does sometimes add incorrect surcharges but there are CORRECT surcharges that you can read about on the Fed Ex website.
Personally if I have an item that is too large or heavy to ship via USPS then I use UPS and buy the label from PIrateship.com. Pirateship helps with insurance claims and surcharge disputes. UPS does have a list of valid surcharges on their website too. UPS does not add surcharges as often as Fed Ex does.
Social media is the best way to contact customer service for this issue.
Here's how to contact eBay general customer service. ( I feel that it's ok to use this option since it does affect your bottom line.)
Click this link> https://www.ebay.com/help/selling/getting-paid/getting-paid-items-youve-sold?id=4814
Then Type PAYOUT In the chat bot box on the lower right.
Then AGENT after the bot responds. You might have to repeat those steps.
Or you can also contact customer service by sending a PRIVATE message on social media. Customer service verifies your identity before responding.
