Ebay - charging for shipping & charging a fee on the amount buyer paid for shipping
My financial statement is wrong.
Ebay has calculated funds to me based on me using eBay to ship the bike I sold. The buyer paid for shipping, but I shipped the bike to the buyer through Bikeflights as it was better for my buyer. Ebay also charged a fee on the shipping costs that the buyer paid.
Ebay is showing my my net proceeds including a deduction by them for shipping.
Also, Ebay has verified my account and there is documentation on Ebay that the buyer has received the bike - but continues to say it's withholding funds for another ~3 weeks. So they are earning interest on my funds - the interest they are earning on float using the community's funds must be significant.
