EBAY CHARGES FOR DELIVERY FRAIS D’IMPORTATION AND CUSTOMS CHARGES
I recently bought an item on BUY IT NOW for a price of £175 the seller quoted a price of £9to send it to Spain. I paid by PayPal, but was horrified to discover that EBay had charged me almost £130 for delivery, frais d’importation and customs charges. The seller has only received his asking price of £175 , I have had to pay for delivery and the item is awaiting collection at my local post office and I have to pay a further €40 in customs duty . Could someone explain to me why EBay have taken this money and how can I get it back please? Thanks Dianne
