Ebay changes my default addresses using their autocomplete attribute values
Summary: strazzygirls is facing an issue on eBay Australia where their address is automatically extended beyond the character limit when using Australia Post for shipping, causing an error. eBay and Australia Post are both directing the issue to each other, leaving strazzygirls unable to buy or sell. comics-scifi-collectibles suggests that strazzygirls seek help on the eBay Australia Community.
After decades selling and buying on ebay (Australia), I can no longer do either!!
The issues is my address (as a delivery address and a return address).
The issue is that no matter what address I have in my ebay profile, when an Australia Post shipping is created ebay auto change my address to a longer version.
An error then occurs saying "The character limit for address line 1 is 40 characters, and what you've entered is 41 characters."
No amount of changing it, trying to edit it, or trying to fix this works!
Ebay say it's Aust Posts problem ... Aust Post say it's Ebays problem !!!
I am going in circles with this issue.
Meanwhile, I can't buy or sell.
Help please :)

Mentor1 week ago@strazzygirls This is eBay.com the US site. I do know that eBay made a recent change here where we can no longer edit a shipping address on a buyers label and move part of the address to the second line.
