Ebay Can't Verify Card
Tried to add new credit card. Ebay says, 'Can't verify card details'. 1. New card is renewal for expired card. 2 Expired card is no longer seen in Payments. 3. I tried adding new card via cell phone and desktop browser Edge. No success. Why is Ebay rejecting my replacement card?

Other things to try, aside from using another card. Try another browser.
If you are using a VPN, hotspot or Starlink, try another network connection.
Make sure you are entering all the info in the correct order, date code in the right format (MMYY), no extra characters, no missing characters.
Are you adding the card as part of a transaction? Try adding to the wallet directly:
https://ppcapp.ebay.com/myppc/wallet/list
Try adding the card directly to PayPal, then choose PayPal at checkout.
For your cell phone, did you try using the eBay app? Mobile browser?
Not every card works "for offers and auctions", even if the card works for regular checkout.

OP1 week agoThank you very much. I did add a debit card but new credit card replacement 'can't be verified'. I avoid PayPal due to its abuse during covid
