EBay cancels sale
I just got a message from eBay telling me not to ship an item to the seller because there is something wrong with the account. I shipped it almost a month ago and it was delivered shortly afterwards. They also said that if I had mailed it, to try and stop it from being delivered. They told me that I was welcome to relist it. Are they trying to tell me that they are going to take the money paid to me back from me because I followed their instructions to mail the item almost a month ago?

·2 years agoeBay can't claw back your sale at this late date. It sounds like the buyer probably used a stolen card to make the purchase, and eBay is doing it's best to follow the legal requirements. I would not worry about it at this point. Credit cards carry their own fraud coverage, but want to make sure they cover all the bases before paying out.
