eBay cancelled order due to unregistered buyer now I'm being warned about shipping overdue?
Hi, a few days ago I sold an item a buyer purchased as BIN and so I went ahead and purchased the mailing label and packed up the box to ship it out this week. Then I got an email from eBay saying they canceled the bid b/c the buyer is no longer a registered user. I was also advised to not contact the buyer and ship out the package.
Luckily I had not ship out the package yet(I was lucky eBay canceled before I shipped!) I went ahead and canceled the shipping label. But yesterday I get a red warning in my orders page that the shipment is overdue. Is this gonna penalize my eBay feedback? I'm a new seller with 5 positive feedbacks so far and Id like to avoid ruining that. I noticed that I can still access the cancel order option, and I thought about canceling it that way, but I think I read that could also get you penalized. What exactly should I do now? Id appreciate any suggestions. I read that many sellers in similar situations cancel the order as "buyers request" option, should I go ahead and do that? thanks...

Cancel the order for 'problem with buyer's address' or 'buyer asked to cancel'.
There is no penalty for you doing that.
