Ebay cancelled an item that someone bought after I shipped the item

I received this after i mailed out item .... We wanted to let you know that a recent bid or order for the listing below was canceled because of an issue with the buyerâ€™s account. Am I out the money and the item now?

That sounds frustrating.

Typically, if eBay cancels the sale, you get to keep the buyer's payment.

eBay is removing the buyer from the platform for some inappropriate behavior.

If the buyer paid, that money should still be in your account. Don't worry about that part.

When they do that, they remove the transaction from history, which cancels the sale.
