eBay canceled the wrong shipping label.

Question

I chose the wrong ship date for an item so I canceled the label and bought another one for the correct date. I then printed a label for a different item that had sold, and took both to the post office. Now eBay has sent me an email saying that I requested to cancel the label for the second item, which is incorrect. I requested the refund on the label from the first item before I even printed the second item’s shipping label. Now I’m worried that it won’t get delivered. What do I need to do?

If the label cancellation was refused because it was scanned, it will be delivered.

Cancel the usused, unscanned label

Here's how to cancel (or void) an unused shipping label you purchased on eBay:

- Go to Manage shipping labels: https://www.ebay.com/ship/labels/my-ebay

- Find the item you'd like to cancel the shipping label for, then from the Actions column, select CANCEL.

- Choose your reason for canceling the label.

- Select Cancel shipping label.

You have 28 days to cancel a label. The refund will come about 21 days after you cancel.

It was scanned later in the day, so if what you said is true it should be delivered, even though it is still showing as “cancellation requested” in my shipping labels tab. Thanks for answering.
