eBay canceled an order
eBay canceled an order, said don’t send it, don’t send a refund. How am I supposed to cancel the order? When I try to do that, it asks for a reason, and says it will refund them. eBay is the one telling me not to refund them, saying there are issues with the buyer’s account. Thank you for any help with this.

If eBay is telling you not to send the item AND they Cancelled the order then wait to see what happens. You can try contacting them via the Help and Contact link on the eBay page, select a reason and if the call back feature is available select that.
I have found that the eBay system that updates their pages in Seller Hub are not always operating in real time and it may take some time for your account to update to reflect the actions they took.
The last sale I see on your account was for $ 20 on December 31, 2023 ... if the transaction you are referring too was AFTER that date it is not showing up on your Sold items to be viewed by the general membership like me.

OP2 years agoThank you! Sorry for the late reply, I was at work all day. The item in question was sold on Dec. 25th. I have no problem waiting, I've just never encountered anything like this before. Thanks so much for your input.

If the item appears on your Sold list you can use the Pull-down menu and use the Sell Similar feature to create a duplicate listing and post it again for sale. Then you can go back to the Sold item and on the pull-down list select Archive (at the bottom) and move it off your Sold list (if you want).

OP2 years agoGreat. I will do that when I get a chance later. Thanks so much!

OP2 years agoHi again, I just tried to create a duplicate listing by using the sell similar option, like you suggested. When I tried to do that, I got an error message that says “no response from server, error 25002â€. Any suggestions on where to go from here? Thanks so much!
