ebay can just keep the money
I am not comfortable giving banking information so ebay can just keep the money.

Mentor1 year agoYour bank information is on every check you write, online payment you make, with PayPal, or needed for any venue you sell on if they process the payment. If you are just afraid of ebay, open another bank account for your ebay sales, plenty of free ones out there.

Mentor1 year agoeBay will eventually give any such money to the US state where you live, probably after some period of time that the state specifies. States have to try to reach you in order to pass that money on to you.
You'd have to prove to your state that the money really does belong to you, like with your Social Security number.
After another while, that money will "escheat" -- legally transfer -- to the State.
