Ebay business seller account sign up issue

Question

I am the sole owner and primary contact of a US-registered single-member LLC. The LLC has a valid US EIN and US business address. I am a Pakistani national and legal UK resident and I do not have a US SSN or ITIN. During business seller registration, eBay is requiring the last four digits of an SSN or ITIN for the Primary Contact which is myself. What is the correct registration procedure for a non-US individual who owns a US single-member LLC?

I think the issue may be how the eBay account itself was registered.

Your eBay profile currently shows Location: United States, but you stated that you are actually a legal resident of the UK. That would explain why the U.S. seller registration flow is asking you, as the Primary Contact, for an SSN or ITIN.

Your LLC’s EIN identifies the business, but eBay also verifies the individual Primary Contact/Beneficial Owner separately.

Before submitting anything else, I would contact eBay and clarify that you are a UK resident who owns a U.S. single-member LLC, and ask how the account should be registered. I would not enter inaccurate U.S. personal information just to get past the registration screen.
