eBay authenticity guarantee didn't work
So I bought a pair of yzy 350s a while ago that had the authenticity guarantee, great shoes and all but when I tried to sell them a couple months later they got sent back to me by eBay with a note that said that the shoes I tried to sell weren't authentic. Im not sure what to do here. The note said something about not "selling fakes" anymore or else they might charge me, so I'm not sure if I should try to sell them again in case it was just a weird mistake. Either they are real and the authenticator made a mistake or I got sold a pair of fakes. 😞 I can't find anything on this situation at the help center so could somebody help me out please?

OP3 years agoI did not put a picture of the COA. I think I am going to try to resell my shoes again with the COA this time and hope that this doesn't happen again. If they get sent back Im just gonna say that they're fake and eBay sold me fakes in the first place

Mentor3 years agoI'm sorry this happened to you. Ebay really needs to get out of the authenticating business if this nonsense happens. (You aren't the first poster to whom this has happened. I've seen it with handbags.)
When you tried to resell them, did you include the COA you received with the purchase? Did you show it in the pictures in the listing? (I'm not implying that this should have made a difference, but I'm just curious.)
