Mentor2 years ago@urbsphlly I know that this seems like a waste of time but it's really for the best for you as a seller.
The holders can be faked. There have been reports of them being opened and other cards being put in them that are of lesser value than PSA says. I know that they are well sealed so I have no clue how opening them is done.
I had someone try to pry open one of my graded comics and returned it saying it was damaged in shipping, it was EXTREMELY obvious that it was tampered with.
Also if a buyer returns an item it has to go back through the authenticity center to make sure the same item is being returned.
