eBay authentication
I’ve sold a ring on here that was returned once because it was 9 carat, not 10 carat. I relisted it as 9 carat and it came back again because they said it had a 10 carat stamp. And I said 9 carat in my listing and an items specifics. This is getting ridiculous. I’ve been selling on here since 2000. I’m ready to pull the plug and not sell on eBay anymore. Any thoughts?

I understand your frustration.
I do not believe that eBay even looks at past authentication attempts, ( that's a guess on my part due to similar reports)
However since the stamp doesn't match the carat it's going to be denied.
I would sell this ring elsewhere.
I see this problem often with older jewelry that the carat count is not the same as the stamp. For example 14K tests at 13k. When that happens the item doesn't pass authentication. Even if the seller lists it as 13K.
