Ebay Authenication
I receievd the following message from a seller.
Hello, I am waiting for feedback from Ebay Authenication dept. about the sneakers. The system shows that you made a payment but Ebay is holding the funds until the authentication process is complete. Please bare with me as Ebay is creating the hold up. i am ready to ship the item as soon as they say it is ok.
Has anyone else had this issue?

Mentor1 year agoThis seller is stringing you along.
If the item has eBay authentication, the seller sends the sneakers to the Authenticator and then the Authenticator ships them to you if they are passed and Authentic.
They do not contact the seller first. eBay is holding the funds until the seller ships the item or proves delivery or because they are new sellers. It does not depend on the Authenticator contacting the seller.
The seller is making things up.
If they do not ship your item and if you do not get in in the estimated delivery date, you can open a request for refund for Item not Received.
