Ebay Auction
A Rep from Vehicle Selling Solutions called me and wanted to help sell my car on ebay auction. They asked for $500 up front. Is this business legit? Thanks

According to the internet, there really is such a company. I hate that they're right here in Omaha. They might do a good job or they might not, I don't know. What terms did they tell you? Do they get the $500 even if the car doesn't sell? What about relisting, is that another $500 in advance? I'm like thanks but no thanks. I don't think they can do a better job than you can. There's no record of a car having been listing on your account. Did they tell you how they knew you have one for sale?

OP2 years ago@gosimus Thank you for your prompt reply. The company was combing Ads on craigslist and found my listing. I've listed there as well as FB. They didn't note if the $500 would be returned if the sale was not complete. I assume no. We didn't discuss a repeat listing. I told the Rep that i would need to do some research first. There are too many scammers out there now so it makes it harder on the legit companies. I don't sell on ebay.
