eBay appeal process after a closed case does not work
eBay has close a case because the seller says that the item was delivered to the address in the order. The picture of the delivery drop point is not my address on the order. Wrong color wall, and door, clearly wrong location.
I got a message from ebay stating that eBay Customer Service has made a final decision.
"Case details
Outcome A refund won't be issued for this case. More details
The seller provided tracking information that shows the item was delivered to your address."
This is wrong based on the pictures provided by Royal Mail.item was not delivered to my address
"If you disagree with the outcome, you can send an appeal " On clicking on "send an appeal" , the page only contains information. Does not provide any rout to appeal. No link to send the proof, no email address, no way to send appeal information/data to ebay

If the tracking shows the seller did NOT ship to the address you provided then this is what you do.
File an item not received refund request. Select your item on this page:

After 4 business days if the seller does not refund you ask eBay to step in and help. Have them review the tracking that shows the package was sent to an address other than the one on the sales record.

You will most likely need to appeal the case.
For the appeal, you will need a letter from the postal service stating that the package was delivered to the address on the shipping label but that it was not delivered to YOUR address.

2. Or you can also contact customer service by sending a private message on social media. You leave a message and an eBay employee will get back to you as soon as possible. To speed things up you can leave your registered account information in the PRIVATE message: Full name, address, phone number, email address, user ID, and a brief explanation of your problem.

OP2 years agoLooks like the item was returned to the sender on the 26th Feb. This is based on the latest tracking information from Royal Mail (in the UK). I have asked the seller to confirm receipt of the item and ship it to me. I showed him tracking details from Royal Mail stating it was delivered by his local Delivery Office. His response was
"Hello
This is not my address unfortunately
Kind regards"
