Ebay App (Android) forgets my article description
Hi there,
As much as I like te Ebay App - there is one flaw that has been bugging me several times already:
While writing the article description I often need to look up some information that needs to be included in the description. When that happens, I usually switch to the browser app in order to retrieving that info.
I then switch back to the eBay app just to find that - poof - all of my meticulously drafted item description has disappeared. I find that very frustrating because it means that I have to do the work that I had already done a second time.
I consider the app's behaviour in the situation a major usability flaw.
If anybody from the app development team reads this: Can you please make sure that an unsaved item description gets saved as part of the app state on the app losing focus. (And of course it should be restored when the app regains the focus)
Please note that I do know that the flaw can be worked around by saving the description before switching to another app. But that is not what I would normally do and I find it highly counterintuitive.
I have not yet completed the description, so my simple mind has no inclination to save it.
Because of that I forget to secure my draft more often than not just to find that its gone when I come back.
If any of the forum members is in contact with the app devs: please forward my message to the devs. You'd make my day! Thanks!
