eBay allows misleading listings
I bought a heart-shaped earring and the seller in his ad says that it is real gold and in the detailed description of the article he also says that the purity of the metal is 14k gold and I blindly trusted this and now after 5 months and by chance I went to a jeweler to repair my wife's chain and I asked them to verify this heart-shaped earring and well it turns out that it is not gold, in other words they have scammed me and now I am out of the return period, I had trusted eBay until now

Mentor1 year agoSorry this happened to you. Sellers are totally responsible for the content of their listing. eBay provides a Money Back Guaranty for 30 days from receipt of the item only. After this time you need to go back to your payment source to see if they can help you. Payment sources have different time limits to open charge backs and you are probably near the end of this time for this purchase. The only time eBay will actually verify an item is if it qualifies for the Authenticity Guaranty Program for certain categories of items.
