EBay allowing winning bidders from fake accounts

Question

Iâ€™ve now had TWO fake accounts win bids on my item. They outbid everyone, with no intent to ever pay. Iâ€™m stuck waiting four days each time before I can cancel and re-list without paying a ridiculous fees, eBay help is no help at all, and there is no way for me to leave feedback on the fake accounts. Iâ€™ve turned in both accounts and eBay does nothing.

Anyone have any ideas how to fix this problem???

Does eBay have some secret customer service line that does more than cycle through recordings and ultimately refer you to the website?

Anyone know how to flag fake accounts?

If you don't like not getting paid and having to wait to cancel the order, ditch the auctions.

Since it's damaged, list as a fixed price with immediate payment required and you don't have to worry about buyers that don't pay.

There aren't any 'fake accounts'. You are a new seller listing an expensive item ... so it will be mainly new buyers who will take the chance to bid.

You are more likely to sell your MacBook to a paying buyer if you list it at a Fixed Price with Immediate Payment Required. That way the listing will stay active until someone actually pays for it.
