eBay AI sucks

Today I received an email telling me I violated eBay policy. They said I offered to sell outside of eBay or I provided personal contact information. The only edit I made on a listing that had been live for months was changing the offering price. After finally getting a human at eBay, I was told that since the Manufacturerâ€™s name is Alarm.com that is considered a link to another site. How stupid can this get?

Alarm com isn't a url.

It is also the Brand Name of their products.

A search engine will find "Alarm com" when searching Alarm.com, but with the space, it isn't a URL

Your search will not be hurt by using Alarm com
