Ebay Ad on My Seller Order Site is a SCAM
Ebay, please, clean up the site and police for ad scams!
Well, it starts as a request to participate in a survey about power tools, and gives you the impression it is for Lowes. It's not for Lowes, but they make you think that. You go to https://market-survey.co/sample/?keyword=&ad=674623101519&sites=order.ebay.com&gclid=EAIaIQobChMIhNutlJbYgQMV9zitBh1d1wR0EAEYASAAEgJRJ_D_BwE
In the end, they offer you a free Dewalt drill driver set......but not so fast. They ask for a credit card to pay for shipping...and lead you to believe you have won. Nope, read the fine print: They are harvesting your personal information, and charging you a MEMBERSHIP fee of $71 monthly...for an opportunity to be in a drawing for the drill set. Eventually, you end up at something called www.digitalwhizoffers.com
Read the fine print. Don't let loose of any data or card.
Anyone else run into this?
Ebay, disappointing you are not policing your ads. And these are ads directed at the folks you actually make money from, sellers.
Not cool, at all.
So, eBay what are you going to do to fix this, please?
