eBay account verification - DEC 2024
I have been submitting documents to change a personal account to a business account. I have been an eBay seller/buyer for 20+ years. The document review for establishing the business has been onerous and with no disrespect, obtuse. The initial documents were submitted Dec 11, 2024. There has been a couple dozen additional requests since then. I have spoken with agents six to eight times. Some have helpful, some have simply said the "back office will look into it and get back to you - goodbye". I have yet to hear from the "back office". At this time eBay has placed all funds from sales since this began "on hold" with the caveat if I don't submit the correct information in the next couple of days, I will not be allowed to make additional listings. I have submitted over 20 documents to date, some unique and some repeating, at eBay's request. The replies for additional documents are very boilerplate and don't specify the issue. The last agent I spoke with last week said everything looks correct, all necessary info has been submitted and to wait until this week and approval should be made. Today I received a message that additional information was necessary. I again called an agent at eBay help and was given the "back office" speech. At this point the process is in an endless loop. I need help!
