Ebay account hacked. Now I'm in collections.
Hi, I have an Ebay account that I haven't used in 2 years. Just got a letter from collections that I owe Ebay $15000.00. I tried to login to that account. Was unable to get in. I requested to get a text with a temporary pass code. The cell number associated with the account is different than mine. I spoke to an ebay customer service rep. He shut the account down. He said I need to contact to collection agency/law firm to see what the charges are for. That does not sound right to me. Looking for advice. Has anyone delt with a similar experience.
