Purchased a set of wheels for my car, listed as best offer on November 22, 2024. I have received a full refund and the seller was told to provide shipping labels. Message to ebay...
Wheels were described as having one repair on one wheel. Listing was best offer, seller ignored all of my offers. After paying full price I had to threaten to stop payment to get a response. Once the wheels arrived the two rear wheels had 7 MARKED cracks and 2 attempted repairs, obviously not captured in the listing pictures. Can they be repaired? When I messaged the seller, he agreed to return them if I pay shipping. I don't think I should pay anything based on the deceptive pictures and description.
Refund was received 12/11/24, again the seller is ignoring me. Seller is being obstinate and making me store his junk. What recourse do I have?

Since you have been refunded, you do not need to return the item. You can do whatever you want with them, including disposing them.

OP1 year agoDo you know the Ebay policy - if a full refund is given and no shipping label has been provided, am I required to pay for a return? After a week of silence, he is now threatening legal action if I don't return the item. The product was not represented correctly, the reason for the refund. It is a set of wheels, so shipping is costly. It doesn't seem reasonable that I would pay to return a defective item. Do you happen to know the policy? I haven't been able to reach anyone at Ebay.

Since you have been refunded, you are not responsible for paying for returning the items. If the sellers wants the items returned, they will have to send you a prepaid shipping label (can not be done through Ebay).
Question.... who refunded you? Was the refund a result of your filing a Return Request?
