E-gift card disappeared from account suddenly
I added an $145 value e gift card to my new registered US region eBay account that I purchased through my capital one shopping account available rewards. It's usually shows on the coupon section as a optional discount code through the payment section. But 10days ago, I tried to make an best offer or reviewing my check out process, then I did give a try to select the gift card discount code and to see how the calculation changes, but then I did not push to make final order placement. But the my gift card code it just suddenly disappeared, I never see that code anymore.
Since that has already been passed 10 days. I tried to email & live chat with eBay customer support.
They do open a investigation case to me of this, but the newest update I got from them today said:
We have received the documents you supplied regarding the eBay gift cards you purchased. We have reviewed both the documents and your account.
Our eBay Terms and Conditions states that you must have an eBay account with a registered address in the US, and a US shipping address to redeem the gift card(s). Gift cards are not redeemable outside the US or its territories.

I was like **bleep**? How could I negotiate with capital one shopping customer support to request a refund for a e gift card code that already redeemed?????
